Population growth in 1750 to 2150

The chart shows population growth in richer and poorer countries between 1750 and 2150

 
In 1750 the world population was less than 1 billion. The world population in less developed countries was more than more developed countries. From 1750 to 1950 world population increased in poor countries about twice as much as rich countries. Between 1950 and 2000 world population tripled from 2 billion to 6.1 billion. In 2050 world population will increase in less developed countries about 8 billion. In 2100 world population will be growing in less developed countries to around 9 billion. However it will not increase in more developed countries to more than 1 billion. In 2150 world population will increase more in less developed countries with a total of 10 billion.


As you can see in the line graph from 1750 to 2150 world population increases 9 times in less developed countries. However between 1750 to 2150 world populations will increase in more developed countries to around 1 billion.
